The Jamaica Academy of Arts
will serve Jamaica and the global community in providing an extensive array of arts educational offerings. The mission is to assist in preserving traditional art forms through an interdisciplinary approach to arts education where instrument making, visual arts, music, dance and drama interweave. Curriculums for children and adults will be offered to the local Jamaican community and workshops, residencies and camps will be offered to locals and internationals.
Our goal is to fundraise $50,000usd which will clear the land and build the first school building to initiate the JA Arts campus. Any size donation is welcomed.
Raffle: Rhiannon Giddens
Special Edition Tackhead Banjo
Purchase a ticket to enter for a chance to win a one of a kind signature Rhiannon Giddens special edition tackhead banjo. This banjo was made especially for Rhiannon and the raffle. All funds will be placed directly to the building of the Jamaica Academy of Arts.

Tickets are $20 each and there is no limit as to how many you can purchase. The more tickets you purchase raises the chances of having your name picked to win this signature banjo.
The raffle begins September 1st, 2023 and will end on October 1st. The draw will take place on October 2nd and the winner will be immediately notified.

Signature Gourd Fiddle / Viola
I am proud to collaborate once again with Rhiannon Giddens and to offer you a chance to purchase a limited series signature gourd fiddle or gourd viola. There will be 20 made in the series and will each be numbered out of 20. You may choose to purchase a violin or viola scale. Each instrument is made in the order it is purchased. All proceeds will be placed towards the building of the Jamaica Academy of Arts.
